“Valletta” LLC made the payments of the nominal coupons (5,5%) of the third bond issue (offering 10 000 bonds, with nominal value of 50 000 AMD) for the semester.
The register of the owners, for receiving the coupons, was made on 02.03.2009.Оn the above mentioned date, in “Central Depositary of RA” OJSC and “ArmswissBank” CJSC 11 owners were registered, among which 5 legal and 6 physical persons.
“Valletta” LLC paid coupons of 27 500 000 AMD (per bond 2 750 AMD). According to RA Legislation for all physical persons 641 300 AMD were paid to RA budget as an income tax (per bond 275 AMD).
On 05.03.2009 “ArmswissBank” CJSC transferred coupon sums on the accounts of each corresponding owner.

On 04.02.2009 “Valletta” LLC made principle repayments for the first bond issue (offering 7000 bonds, with nominal value of 50 000 AMD), also the owners were paid coupons (5.25%) for the last semi-annual period.

The prospectus of “Valletta” LLC' s corporate non-documentary partial maturity coupon bonds with the total amount of AMD 500 mln. has been registered according to the CBA chairman's resolution of 25.08.2008.
From 02.09.2008 tо 15.09.2008 inclusive it is projected to place the above mentioned bonds through the public offer.

In 27.06.2008 “VALLETTA” LLC made coupon payments of 26’250’000 AMD to the owners of 10’000 corporate bonds with a nominal value of 5’000 AMD, issued in 12.11.2007 by a decision of the single shareholder of “VALLETTA” LLC.

The first “Star” shop opened in the center of Yerevan in 1998. The net of “Star” supermarkets was not yet founded, but the idea existed. “Star” company together with Henrik Zakharyants, the owner of “Valletta” LLC, and a group of other collaborates brought it into life.

The net of “Star” supermarkets once worked within the frames of “Valletta” LLC. Today it is separated from “Valletta” LLC and the "European Bank of Reconstruction and Development" (EBRD) has become the shareholder of “Star” company.

“Star” is a closed joint-stock company: 28.3% of stocks belong to the "European Bank of Reconstruction and Development". The "EBRD" ’s $4 million investment is directed to the development of the network, which includes 11 supermarkets.

The slogan and the loan of success of “Star Divide” CJSC is the right approach to the business. Despite of having leading positions in the market, “Star” continues to enlarge its net. “Star” managed to change the general idea, which the consumers have towards the retail trade. The net of “Star” supermarkets present diverse products and different trademarks.

Henrik Zakharyants, the founder of “Valletta” LLC company, owned the idea of founding the net of “Star” supermarkets, which at present is managed by Vahan Qerobyan, the ex-worker of "HSBC Bank Armenia" cjsc . He joined “Valletta” LLC to supervise the leading net system of Yerevan.

When we glance back it becomes clear that the company and its projects have passed a long way from the birth of the idea till bringing it into life and getting income.

At present the company supervises 11 supermarkets in its net collaborating with the specialists both from west, and from Russia. Periodically, trainings are being organized within the frames of some spheres with the participation of foreign professionals.
